As all the values of the 2nd issue it
can be found printed only on gray or on white paper. This stamp is known used
from July 1859, therefore already in Provisional Government, even if the official
currency was still the Tuscany one (until November 1859). The very short period
of usage (in fact the stamps in centesimi appeared starting from January 1st
1860) and the value with not so large usage makes this stamp very rare. Please

its characteristics.
The first known usage date is July 8th 1859.
